Witt takes over the full ownership of Teministeriet
It has been fantastic journey since Teministeriet was erected in 2015 – developing from a minor side business to a café, now supplying tea all over the world.
The founders Kathryn Wen-i Brown and Ole Johnsen has been a significant driver of the development in Teministeriet with the sense for Scandinavian Design combined with the age-old tea traditions of the Far East and the eager to widen out the number of shops, retailers, agents, and distributers as well as the many private tea zippers all over the world favoring the products from Teministeriet or The Ministry of Tea.
Business Development Manager at Witt, Kim Simonsen, can only thank the original founders of Teministeriet Kathryn and Ole for the great efforts spent on developing Teministeriet to where it is today – “With the new strategy in place where focus is on developing new markets and focusing on Teministeriet’s current strength it was clear that Witt and the original founders did not share the same mindset for the future, hence I am happy that we have found a solution allowing Witt to acquire the remining shares in Teministeriet and now is in 100% control of the company and the future development, the strategy is clear and ready for execution. We can now add extra power to the food segment accelerating this business area and we will be looking forward to the future with great expectations”.

Teministeriet
Teministeriet is a specialty tea company from Malmö, Sweden. With roots from the island of Formosa, Teministeriet combines age-old tea traditions of the Far East with Scandinavian minimalism, design and flair.
